Supporting Change

Microboards Australia actively provide advocacy, consultation and and create opportunities to improve:

  • the values and approaches of support services with the disability sector
  • access to support in alignment and fairness as would a person with a disability
  • how people engage with lived experience of people with a disability to learn from and engagement them in co-design models of support and the evaluate services
  • to uphold the voice and opportunities for people with a disability, particularly people who complex communication needs.

Whilst we are an NDIS funded organisation we do this mostly pro bono, meaning this is so important to us that we are mostly unfunded to provide these supports. If you would like to enquire how you can support us within this space, please give us call to to have a chat.

Whilst our advocacy and consultation support are wide reaching induing through sit-in on advisory panels, talking at conferences, ad hoc consultation, developing training for other organisations, providing mentoring and supervision, a snapshot of some of our projects or supporting change topics you may like to read more about are listed below.
